Thanks to all who responded to the last question. So I'm thinking today about the difference between porn and erotica. My aim in this blog is to dispell some of the "puritanistic" attitudes that still cling to us in our relationships. Someplace along the way, organized religion declared sex to be evil. Now they may not have come right out and said that, but that is the result of the heretical behavior tracing back centuries. I am not a historian or theologeon, by any means, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe in the Bible, Adam was told to go forth and populate the earth. Sounds like sex to me. And yet, there is a dark shadow even after the "sexual revolution" of the 60's. I'm not talking about the vulgar, animalistic, amoral, and destructive behavior depicted on many pay websites and pay channels, but healthy sexual expectations and behavior. What is the difference between porn and erotica?
I do think there have to be some boundaries in our sexual behavior, but perhaps that boundaries ought to be set only by those involved. Assuming the participants are old enough to make value judgments (a real stretch sometimes), sex should be mutually consenual. What else? Any other guidelines?

What are the reasons for boundaries? Why should 14 yr olds NOT have sex? or should they?
